If you are looking for ways to lower your expenses, you may want to start shopping on the lower levels of the grocery aisles. Sometimes stores put their most expensive items at the eye level on the shelves. Also, watch out for individually wrapped goods. These goods are most often overpriced because of the convenience of the product being individually wrapped. Look for more items you can buy in bulk or large quantities. When you buy in bulk, you can also buy cheap zipper bags or reuseable containers so that you are able to preportion your snacks.
The earlier the better! The sooner you start budgeting, the better off you will be in terms of running into problems in the future. Even if you do not have a job, it is still very important that you learn about budgeting your money and planning out your expenses. If you learn these skills early on, then you will be able to apply them when you do have a job.

I am a part of Girl Scouts of America because I value all of the opportunities it has given me to be able to give back to others. I think GSA is an amazing organization, that teaches young girls about leadership and character.
No, I do not give advice for things such as tax maters. I am simply a resource others can use to learn about financial literacy and the importance of financially planning and budgeting. To get advice on tax matters you will need to see your bank or a certified financial planner (CFP Board).
No, none of the work I have done for my project has been for profit. As stated on the About Me page, this website and all other materials on this website contribute to my Girl Scout Gold Award Project, meaning there are no payments, gimmicks, or obligations. This is purely to help motivate others to plan financially for their future.
Building a blessing box is very beneficial to communities and those that do not have enough food or any desired item for a short amount of time. They also allow for anonymous taking and giving, which many people in need like about blessing boxes.
